gLabels, published by ibsorn and currently at version 3.99.639, is an unofficial Windows build of gLabels 4 (glabels-qt), an open-source application for designing labels and business cards. Falling within the desktop publishing and office productivity category, it is intended for anyone who needs to produce printed labels on the pre-cut peel-off sheets and card stock commonly sold in office supply shops. The program ships with a template database covering more than thirty vendors, including Avery, Herma, Zweckform and Dymo, so documents can be matched to widely available sheet formats without manual measurement. Within the editor, users can place text, images, lines, shapes and barcodes onto a label, and a document-merge feature populates those elements from a CSV file or address book, allowing an entire sheet to be personalised in a single operation. Barcode support covers the built-in glbarcode++ symbologies as well as those provided by zint and libqrencode, making the software suitable for retail, inventory, mailing and product-labelling workflows. For automated or scripted use, a command line renderer called glabels-batch-qt can produce PDF files without opening the graphical interface. This package exists because upstream gLabels 4 does not currently distribute binaries for Windows; the build is compiled unmodified from upstream sources through a public GitHub Actions workflow. It is a community effort that is not endorsed by or affiliated with the official gLabels project, and responsibility is divided accordingly: bugs in the application itself should be reported to the upstream gLabels project, while problems specific to the packaging or build process should be directed to this package's own issue tracker. At present, version 3.99.639 is the only version listed for this package, representing a single snapshot of the upstream glabels-qt codebase packaged for Windows users.
